Presidents Message:
Magic show is Friday - 270 people coming - all slots have been volunteered for
May 2^nd - Sushi Day from Fujia - discussion of price - money from this will go to Japan relief (Red Cross). Agreed on $3 and $4.
Playground meeting was last night. We have $25,829 (75% needs to be kept aside for installation). Joanne passed around 2 playground options. The monkey bars and “mushrooms” will be staying and new playground will replace other existing playground. Alison proposed that the remaining $4500 that we are short, be taken from all fundraising for remainder of the year (Magic Show, bottle drive and toonie hike) and just get it done this summer.
April 29^th may 1^st - BCC PAC in Richmond - everyone welcome
　
Treasurer’s Message:
Current funds available discussed and spreadsheet passed around.
We wont be wiped out if we borrow monies from the admin as we rarely use the allotted $7000 each year.
　
Vice President’s Message:
Joanne showed the model picture of the playground. This will be passed around to each class so the children can vote on it. The winner will be announced on Election Day (May 2^nd)
Hanging basket fundraiser is on right now. Will continue to the end but not a huge success.

Book Fair is this upcoming week.
Earth Day is April 21^st - wear green. Lights out challenge. Litterless lunches. Mr Ritchie will be running a themed Earth week in the library.
Water bottle sales will be promoted again for Earth Week
PBS - survey for how students feel about calming down in positive ways
Autism awareness walk this upcoming Sunday
Lunch monitor training for Grade 4s - 3 week cycles starting on Monday
Spring active - X Country Tues, Thurs and Fridays (first meet was yesterday). Another one next Monday.

Track Attack - 7 rounds for the kids to get a feel for the whole Track and Field thing. Started today. May 27^th for the finals at UVIC - City Finals on June 1^st sign up (May 4^th). All practices will be at lunchtime.
